Tacoma Home & Garden Show
January 27th – January 31st

Be part of this great opportunity to share your love of Lakewold with the public! Volunteers at our booth will help promote the gardens and have the opportunity to speak with other garden lovers. Discovery Walks
March – June 2:30 pm – 3:45 pm

Take pleasure in one, or all, of these walks lead by Katie Burki, Garden Manager. The walks take place on the third Wednesday of each month and Katie will guide you through seasonal changes, discuss new additions, and future plans for the garden. Docent Training
March 20th 10:00 am – 1:00 pm

Are you interested in becoming a docent at Lakewold and sharing your passion for the gardens with visitors and tour groups? If so, please attend this training session led by our seasoned docents in a roundtable discussion. This session will cover Lakewold’s plant collection, history of the Lakes District, and public speaking skills. Spring Work Party
April 17th 8:30 am – 12:00 pm

MayFest
May 1st – 9th 10:00 am – 4:00 pm

Celebrate the arrival of spring from May Day to Mother’s Day with Lakewold Gardens. With the gardens in full bloom, Lakewold is planning a joyous week with events, displays, and membership specials. Mother’s Day Brunch
May 9th

Reserve your seat for this annual event and enjoy the perfect setting for celebrating such an extraordinary day. Attendees will enjoy a buffet-style brunch and a stroll through the gardens. Be sure to make your reservations early as seating is limited. Ticket prices: Members $45 per person, non-members $50 per person, children 12 and under $20. Annual Rhodie Dead-heading Work Party
June 12th 8:30 am – 12:00 pm

Lakewold Summer Nights
July & August 10:00 am – 8:00 pm

Every Wednesday in July and August the gardens will be open for visitors to take pleasure in those long summer evenings. Stop by the gardens for a late night picnic or relax with an evening stroll, either way a summer night at Lakewold is unlike any other. Lakewold Gardens Open on 4th of July
July 4th 10:00 am – 1:00 pm

Make sure to include a trip to Lakewold as part of your 4th of July celebration this year. Bring your out-of-town guests and family to enjoy an afternoon walk and experience local history before your evening festivities begin. Standard Lakewold admission fees apply.

New Member & Volunteer Appreciation Night
August 18th 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm

To welcome our new members and give thanks to our dedicated volunteers we will be hosting an appreciation night where our members, volunteers, and staff can mix and mingle. Stay tuned for more information.

Beautiful Tables Showcase
November 4th – 7th 10:00 am – 4:00 pm

Join us for an inspirational experience and celebrate the art of entertaining. Now in its 12th year, this annual showcase has gained such popularity and interest Lakewold is opening the show for four days to the public. Holiday Shopping at the Garden Shop
December 11th 10:00 am – 3:00 pm

Lakewold Gardens will open its gate for a one day shopping extravaganza at the Garden Shop. Stop by the gardens to pick up a gift for the garden lover in your life. The Garden Shop specializes in rare tools, trinkets, and plants. www.thegardenshoponline.com.
