Open for Spring/Summer Season
April 4th-September 30th

Tour! Lakewold and The Garden Shop are open for spring and summer garden touring season Wednesday-Sunday from 10 am - 4 pm. General Admission is $9 per person. Senior/Student/Military admission is $6 per person. Members of Lakewold and children 12 and under receive free admission.

Volunteer Wednesdays
Apri-September 9 am-Noon

Volunteer! Want to help out in the garden for a few hours each Wednesday morning? Lakewold’s Volunteer Manager will work with you in the garden, alongside others interested in gardening activities. Discovery Walks
April-September 2:30 pm-3:45 pm

Explore! Staff and volunteers will take visitors on a tour through the gardens discussing seasonal changes, new additions and future plans. Discovery walks are significantly different than docented tours with time for your very specific seasonal questions. These walks take place on the third Wednesday of each month: April 18th, May 16th, June 20th, July 18th, August 15th, September 19th. Standard Lakewold admission fees apply. Bridal Tasting with Occasion’s Catering
April 24th 4 pm-8 pm

Developed by Occasion’s Catering, this tasting at Lakewold Gardens gives engaged couples the opportunity to visit with a select group of vendors while enjoying wedding delectables by Occasion’s Catering. If you are getting married soon and want to explore a few vendor options and the gardens as a venue site, contact Ashley at Occasion’s, 360.943.9393 to make your reservation.

Gallucci’s Catering Open House
May 2nd, 4 pm-8 pm

Galucci’s Catering will hold an Open House/Tasting Event at Lakewold Gardens. There will be a select group of vendors on hand to answer questions, giving engaged couples some great information along with some wonderful tasty samples offered by Gallucci’s Catering. MayFest
May 5th-13th 10 am - 4 pm

MayFest

Celebrate! With the gardens in full bloom, Lakewold’s MayFest is a great week to enjoy the beauty of the gardens alongside great displays and activities in the Wagner House. Currently slated for the week, participants include: Ikebana Columbia BankInternational #147, an art show by Lakewood Arts Commission, The Memory Singers, an inspirational spring tabletop display and more. Mother’s Day Brunch Fundraiser
May 13th

Honor! With beautiful cherry blossoms gracing the brick walk and colorful rhododendrons spread throughout, Lakewold is the perfect setting for celebrating such an extraordinary day. Click here for more information.

Rainier League of Arts
June 1st—3rd 10 am—4 pm

View! The Wagner House will be on display alongside various forms of artwork by over 20 artists. The Rainier League of Arts returns to demonstrate a mix of artforms from blown glass vases to paintings. Standard Lakewold admission fees apply.

Annual Rhodie Deadhead Work Party
June 9th 8:30 am-12 pm

Join in! Lend a hand to the gardens as we prepare for summer with our annual mass-deadheading of the rhodies. This work party is a great way to get involved and meet other volunteers. Last years party was attended by 24 volunteers and a great time was had by all. Participants will meet at 8:30 am at the kitchen of The Wagner House for a complimentary breakfast. Second City Chamber Series
June 21st and July 19th

Relax !Each year the series brings together many of the Northwest’s finest musicians to perform interesting, challenging, and entertaining chamber music in The Wagner House at Lakewold Gardens. Through the music, thoughtful program notes, and the gracious and intimate setting that is Lakewold Gardens, Second City Chamber Series seeks both to enrich and delight music lovers. Picnic with Purpose

Connect! Open to new members of Lakewold, our annual open-house picnic gives staff and volunteers the opportunity to introduce our newest members to all that the garden has to offer. BeautifulTables

October 25th-28th 10 am-4 pm

Get inspired! Our Beautiful Tables Showcase is the perfect opportunity to see the colorful fall foliage of the gardens and kick-off the holiday season. This is a fabulous time to visit The Wagner House when it is decked out in over 30 themed “beautiful” table settings.
