Designer Showhouse

Michael Bowman, ASID Washington State Chapter President notes, “We have obtained a marvelously talented group of professional designers to transform some of the interior rooms in The Wagner House by embellishing designated rooms with their individual design visions; providing fresh paint, wall treatments, fabulous furniture, lighting, floor treatments and accessories.” Lakewold’s Executive Director, Stephanie Walsh, is pleased with this partnership that will enable visitors to see areas of the mansion that are not normally open for public viewing.

The participating designers, each responsible for a single room or area of the house, are providing their design services free of charge. Some are using their own resources, while others have arranged for donations of materials, furniture and fixtures they require. Visitors to the Showhouse will be able to see these artful designs as presented in a historic home. With the gardens beginning their spring bloom cycle, the 10-acre estate will be a must-experience spring activity.

Showhouse Hours

April 3rd-21st

Wednesdays 11 am-8 pm
Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays 11 am-6 pm
Sundays 11 am-5 pm
The Gardens and Showhouse are closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.

Showhouse Admission Prices

(includes entry to the gardens)

General Admission: $22 per person
Seniors (62+): $18 per person
Military (with ID): $18 per person
Members of Lakewold: $18 per person
Students (with ID): $18 per person
Children (6-18): $18 per person
Pre-reserved/paid Groups of 10+ $18 per person
Children (5 and under): Free

Net proceeds from this event benefit WA-ASID, Lakewold Gardens, and Mary Bridge Children's Hospital.

Contributions or gifts to the Washington State Chapter of ASID (“WA-ASID”) and/or the 2013 Lakewold Gardens-WA-ASID Designer Showhouse are not tax deductible.
