Lakewold Gardens differs from other properties in the Puget Sound area because we offer comfortable accommodations in an inspirational and relaxing environment. We offer a unique and serene property for meetings, corporate retreats, presentations or to celebrate your social occasion. Amidst the garden sits the historic Wagner House that offers a variety of rooms that can be utilized in many ways – from a small staff retreat in our upstairs boardroom overlooking the gardens, to an evening gala under our wisteria draped verandah – an event held at Lakewold is unlike any other.

We are located on the shores of Gravelly Lake in Lakewood, WA and just minutes from I-5 and downtown Tacoma. Although we are near the hustle and bustle of the city, it feels worlds away.

We encourage you to visit Lakewold Gardens and discover why we are one of the premier venues in the Puget Sound area. Admission is always complimentary for our inquiring renters, and you are welcome to view the gardens and the Wagner House whenever we are open to the public.

Lower Conference Room Day Use Capacity: 80 with theater seating 50 with tables and chairs Available year round Monday-Friday October-March Monday-Sunday Half-day (4 hour) $200 Full-day (8 hours) $300 $40 per additional hour

This room is the former living room of the Wagner House, and provides a great deal of flexibility in accommodating breakout sessions. The three French doors in this large room open out to the Wisteria Terrace. The adjacent former Dining Room opens off the Living Room and may be used for a grand buffet.

The Lower Conference Room comfortably accommodates up to 50 people with tables and chairs. In-house coffee/tea service is available. Box lunches or a buffet may be purchased from one of our exclusive caterers. Rental costs includes setup of banquet tables and chairs. Round tables and chair option available for an additional fee. Please contact Event Coordinator for larger group accommodations.

Upper Conference Room Day Use Capacity: 20 Available year round Monday-Friday Half-day (4 hours) $100 Full-day (8 hours) $150 $40 per additional hour

This room is located on the second floor of the Wagner House and provides a spectacular view of the gardens as well as Gravelly Lake. It is best suited for small groups and board-style meetings and retreats. The Upper Conference Room comfortably accommodates up to 20.

In-house coffee/tea service is available. Box lunches may be purchased from one of our exclusive caterers. Rental cost includes setup of banquet tables and chairs.

Sunroom Day Use Capacity: 25 Available April-September Mondays & Tuesdays Only Half-day (4 hours) $150 Full-day (8 hours) $200 $40 per additional hour

The Sunroom is a glass-framed room that provides the easiest access to the gardens and a northern view along the brick walkway towards the Gazebo.

The Sunroom comfortably accommodates up to 20 people with tables and chairs. In-house coffee/tea service is available. Box lunches may be purchased from one of our exclusive caterers. Rental costs includes setup of banquet tables and chairs. Round tables and chair option available for an additional fee.

This area includes the Sunroom, Living, and Dining Rooms in addition to the Verandah. This space flows together wonderfully and works well for evening affairs such as office gatherings, banquets, evening presentations and client appreciation events.

The Lower Wagner House accommodates up to 80 people indoors, or 125 people using the covered Verandah. Please note, events with greater than 80 people require additional parking fees. Full catering services may be purchsaed from one of our exclusive caterers. Rental costs includes use off banquet tables and chairs. Round tables and chair option available for an additional fee.
